Nassau Bay Honors Sgt Kaila Sullivan

On Wednesday morning, June 23rd, a special ceremony
was held in David Braun Park honoring fallen Nassau Bay
Police Sgt. Kaila Sullivan. During the ceremony, the Nassau Bay Police Department, joined by members
of Sgt. Sullivan’s family and other City of Nassau Bay representatives, gathered
to dedicate a special bench in her honor. The bench, donated by the Community Association for Nassau Bay Enhancement (CANBE), has been installed at
David Braun Park along the sidewalk leading to the playground.
“We are so grateful to CANBE for this special donation in honor of Kaila.
This small dedication ceremony gave the department the chance to gather in
honor of Kaila, who was killed in the line of duty on December 10, 2019.” Nassau Bay Police Chief Tim Cromie
